Luciana Migliore

Luciana Migliore is an Eco toxicologist in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. During her long career, she has been managing numerous researches which can be summarised in the following points, starting from the most recent ones:- development of methods to value the conservation status of marine phanerogams; - studies on the dose-response relationship, in particular on the hermetic responses in plants and in microorganisms exposed to toxic compounds; - valuation on the eco-toxicology of anti-microbial pharmaceutical and effects of environmental contamination in laboratory and on field (marine and land ecosystems) with chemical monitoring of abiotic and biotic matrices contaminated. She has taken part in institutional and editorial research: she has been a member of the Consiglio d’Amministrazione dell'Università Tor Vergata (2008-2013) and elected member of Consiglio Universitario Nazionale per l’Area 05 (BIO; CUN 05). She has been the editor for Scienze biologiche e naturali dell’Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana by G. Treccani (1980-2001) and of Enciclopedia Medica Italiana, UTET (2003-08). She collaborates with Filicudi Wildlife Conservation conducting studies on projects focused on sea turtle Caretta caretta.
