Biografia

Sono biologa marina e insegnante. Fin da piccola sognavo di studiare il mare e i suoi abitanti, soprattutto i mammiferi marini.

In seguito alla laurea in Scienze Biologiche con l’Università di Pisa sono stata molti anni all’estero in Spagna, Canada e Nuova Zelanda lavorando a diversi studi sui cetacei.

Dopo il rientro in Italia, ho partecipato a un master di secondo livello in “Conservation Medicine of Aquatic Animals” dell’Università di Padova e, al momento, sono studentessa di dottorato presso l’Università di Siena.

I miei interessi principali sono  la conservazione dei mammiferi marini (in particolare lo studio delle interazioni tra la pesca e i piccoli cetacei) e la bioacustica.
